Blues ViolinThis is an excerpt from my book, Getting into Blues Violin, which should be released (by MelBay) in February 2007. It is a comprehensive workshop in improvisation, which moves gradually from the blues into its influence on swing, bluegrass, cajun and Gypsy styles. An accompanying CD follows the book closely and also contains snippets of blues solos of the great violinists,past and present.
